MediaTek looks to smartphone sector to halt sales decline in 2011, says company chairman

IC design house MediaTek will focus on smartphones, and has introduced Android and Windows Phone chipset solutions to grab a share of the global brand vendor market, according to company chairman Tsai Ming-Kai, adding that expansion of the China market should help MediaTek halt its sales decline in 2011.
