MediaTek to ship 10 million MT6516 smartphone solutions in December and January, says paper

MediaTek is expected to ship a total of 10 million units of its Android 2.1-enabled MT6516 smartphone solutions in December 2010 and January 2011, buoyed by strong demand from branded as well as white-box handset vendors in China, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.
