Samsung develops higher density LPDDR2 for smartphones and tablets

Samsung Electronics has developed a monolithic 4Gb, low-power DDR2 (LPDDR2) memory device built using 30nm-class process technology, according to the company. The chip will be used in high-end mobile applications such as smartphones and tablet PCs.
