China market: Huawei Device ships over 10 million handsets in January-August

Huawei Device, a subsidiary of China-based networking equipment maker Huawei Technologies, shipped more than 10 million handsets in the China market during January-August 2010, with a large portion consisting of inexpensive smartphones at retail prices of 1,000-2,000 yuan (US$147-176), according to a China-based tech.sina.com report.
