SanDisk gearing up for future maintream embedded memory

SanDisk's integrated solid-state drive (iSSD), designed for use in mobile computing platforms such as tablet PCs and ultra-thin notebooks, is available for sampling to OEMs, according to Doreet Oren, SanDisk's Director of Product Marketing for SSD products. Along with iNAND that targets mobile devices including smartphones, both drives will be the future mainstream choices in embedded storage solutions, Oren believes.
