Nokia Siemens Networks to maintain WiMAX support, says regional head

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) will maintain its support for WiMAX technologies and applications although LTE has appeared to be the mainstream 4G standard, and its WiMAX technological capabilities will be enhanced through merging with Motorola's wireless network business, with the merger to be legally finished by the end of 2010, according to the company's general manger Mike Wang for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.
