Smartphone competition to heat up prior to IFA

The global smartphone market is heading for a new round of competition in early September when Samsung Electronics and Sony Mobile Communications are set to release new flagship models in Berlin prior to the opening of IFA 2013, and Apple is expected to unveil its entry-level iPhone, according to industry sources.
