China market: Samsung leads in 3Q12 smartphone market share, says report

There were 49.8 million smartphones sold in the China market during the third quarter of 2012, hiking 31.1% on quarter and 154.9% on year, tech.163.com cited China-based iiMedia Research as indicating. Samsung Electronics posted the largest market share at 17.8%, followed by Lenovo with 13.2%, Coolpad with 10.9%, Huawei Device with 10.6%, ZTE with 9.7% and HTC with 5.7%,
