More vendors to launch Atom-based smartphones, but market acceptance remains to be seen

While market acceptance to Intel's Atom-chips for smartphones may become more clear in the fourth quarter of 2012 after its partners ZTE and Motorola Mobility launch Atom smartphones in September, industry watchers believe that Intel's handset CPUs may have more opportunities in the entry-level smartphone segment.
