Handset keypad maker Silitech reports 14% profit drop for 2008

Taiwan's Silitech Technology has posted net profits of NT$1.11 billion (US$32.7 million), or NT$6.54 per share, on consolidated revenues of NT$9.11 billion in 2008, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE). The handset keypad specialist experienced a 14% profit drop for last year, despite a 2% growth in sales.
