Intel extends lead over Samsung in 1Q11, says IC Insights

IC Insights has issued its revealed ranking of the top semiconductor suppliers in the first quarter of 2011. Intel remained firmly in control of the number one spot in the ranking, extending its lead over second-ranked Samsung Electronics by registering a 44% higher sales level than Samsung as compared to a 24% margin for all of 2010.
