VAT on trades on cellpex or anywhere else.

Hi All, Having offered stock on the cellpex platform - and considering all the questions we have been getting. I just wanted to outline some basic facts. All mobile phone trader will and should be VAT registered within there country of origin. We have to charge VAT on top of any price that we give to you, and normally expect this to be already understood as it is the norm. However some customers think that VAT is not relavant. - If we sell in the UK, we have to charge VAT on all orders - unless the buyer has a VAT certificate and the value of the transaction is £5K+ - If we sell in Europe we have to charge VAT unless we see a copy of the VAT certificate, oin which case we don't charge VAT. - If we sell anywhere else in the world, we do not charge VAT. In export cases we have to export the goods ourselves to show we have exported in cases where we are not charging VAT. The above is the norm, thereofre i have posted it so you can all educate yourself, which saves us having to go through long converations negotiating only to find we have wasted half a day, as you didn't know that there was VAT on top of the price. No offence to all those that are aware of these points. Thanks
