Large-size displays such as TVs have seen demand recover earlier than smaller ones for handset, notebook and other consumer electrics devices after becoming the first to enter inventory corrections, significantly benefiting supply chain players including vendors of peripheral ICs for TV applications and related backend specialists, in addition to panel suppliers, according to industry sources.
