Micron launches pico projection engine

Micron Technology has announced the V100 pico projection engine for integration in smartphones with price expected to drop under US$30. It is scheduled to begin volume production at the end of 2010, and Micron noted that it is in talks with more than one handset vendor and expects both embedded and externally connected versions to hit the market in mid-2011.
