Taiwan market: Samsung unveils Android-based Galaxy Tab tablet PC

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its Android-based 7-inch tablet PC, the Galaxy Tab, in the Taiwan market with commercial sales slated for the fourth quarter of 2010. The company hopes to ship one million Galaxy Tabs worldwide in the fourth quarter, according to Andy Tu, president of mobile communications unit, Samsung Taiwan.
