HTC hopes to regain US market share with new Windows Phone 8 smartphones

The rise of Apple and Samsung Electronics has pushed HTC to rank number three in the US smartphone market with an approximately 14% market share. The firm plans to regain turf with the introduction of two new Windows Phone 8 (WP8) smartphones and at least two new smartphones with Google's Android platform.
