IC distributors to see sales peak in 3Q12

Buoyed by rising demand for smartphones and a pick-up in orders from their China channels, most of Taiwan-based IC distributors have reported revenue growth sequentially for August 2012. The companies are expected to see their third-quarter sales hit the highest quarterly level for 2012, market sources believe.
