Flagship smartphones tend to have bigger screens

A number of handset vendors including HTC, Acer and Samsung Electronics have unveiled their respective flagship smartphones with screen sizes of over 4.5 inches compared to the prevailing 4- to 4.3-inch models - a trend which is likely to make larger screens a standard for all upcoming flagship smartphones, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
