China market: NFC handsets to be available in 2H11

Nokia, Taiwan-based HTC as well as China-based vendors Lenovo and TCL Communication Technology have been developing handsets with NFC (near field communication) functionality through cooperation with China UniPay, a bankcard association in China, and will kick off volume production as soon as the second half of 2011, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
