More than 20 billion ARM-powered processors have been shipped by semiconductor and system companies worldwide over the past 20 years, and the number is expected to top 100 million in the next decade, according to ARM president, Tudor Brown. A significant catalyst behind this growth is the adoption of mobile computing devices, including smartphones and newly-created tablet PCs.
