Asustek smartphone sales gaining momentum

Asustek Computer is poised to see its smartphone business grow significantly in 2020, with overall handset ASPs trending upward and losses for its mobile device business unit further narrowing, according to company vice president Benson Lin.

The company's smartphone shipments have been riding high recently, bolstered by the launch of its its new gaming phone, the ROG Phone 3, at the end of July and the new ZenFone 7 series products at the end of August, Lin said.
