Android picking up momentum in latest handsets

Research firm Strategy Analytics tracks the design and engineering trends in the handset market, and, thanks to a teaming between Strategy Analytics and FierceWireless, we'll bring you some key figures from the firm's reports. In February, an impressive 95 new handsets and 5 new USB dongles were announced globally by 26 vendors, including 33 new model variations from Alcatel and a total of 15 new models running Google's Android platform.
