BOE to invest US$3.53 billion in new 6G fab

China panel maker BOE has announced it will invest CNY22 billion (US$3.53 billion) to construct a new 6G fab that will focus on production of LTPS and AMOLED panels for use in high-end smartphones and newly emerging applications.
