China market: Mobile phone user base increases to over 747 million in December 2009

There were 747.38 million subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of December 2009, growing 1.19% on month and 16.55% on year, according to statistics published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
