France\'s Orange bring iPhone to new markets

France's Orange sources said that they will begin selling the iPhone in Austria, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Switzerland, as well as in the Dominican Republic, Egypt and Jordan later this year.
Orange also will sell the iPhone in its African markets, but gave no further details about its plans.
The moves follow similar recent announcements by Britain's Vodafone Group PLC and other carriers, and will expand the iPhone's reach to about 40 countries. Additionally, the new deals appear to be non-exclusive as some of the new iPhone carriers will provide service in the same countries.
