Some iPhone suppliers likely to record shipment declines in 4Q11, say sources

Some suppliers in the iPhone supply chain may see their shipments decline sequentially in the fourth quarter due to a high base recorded in the previous quarter, although Apple CEO Tim Cook has stated that sales of iPhones are expected to hit a record high in the quarter, according to sources at upstream suppliers.
