HTC is expected to see its smartphone shipments grow only 11% on year to 10.8 million units in the first quarter of 2012 as the smartphone vendor will not be able to launch new LTE-enabled models until March-April next year, the Chinese-language Commercial Times quoted Kevin Chang, an analyst of Citigroup Global Markets, as saying.
