My BBM Experience that I have to share with others in the Industry

Blackberry Messenger, or BBM as it is known, is now
available for the iPhone and Android systems. I quickly downloaded the free app
when I heard it was available and set up my account. It was very easy to do.
During the first week of it being available to iPhone and Android users, BBM
created 20 million new users alone. BBM is one of the most secure forms of
messaging so you are given a unique pin number unrelated to your phone number
as a way of being contacted. I was a little frustrated at first that I couldn’t
see who already had BBM through my contacts. However, I quickly got over that
when I realized I get to chose who can and cannot contact me; no more ex
boyfriends finding me on here, unlike other messaging apps that go through your
contacts automatically. I put out a post on Facebook and text messages with my
pin number and very easily was able to accept and deny those I wish to and
didn’t wish to talk to.
Messaging is easy to do on BBM and you are able to see who
had your messages delivered and received. I have also discovered the Ping icon,
in which you can alert someone without actually sending a message. I love the
fact with Broadcast Message you can send a mass message to your contacts
without having to send it out individually. It doesn’t take up as much battery
life as other messaging apps either. And for when you want to have a group
message, it is easy to create and use. You can send and receive various types
of files as well. I have overall had a positive experience so far with BBM and
highly recommend everyone download it for a good and secure messaging app
regardless of what phone you have.
