Huawei aims to ship 60 million smartphones globally in 2012

Huawei Technologies, a China-based vendor of telecom equipment and mobile and home-use terminal devices, has set global target shipments of 60 million smartphones in 2012, thereby standing a chance of becoming the world's third largest vendor of smartphones, according to the company's corporate media relations vice president Scott Sykes.
