Taiwan market: Smartphone penetration rate reaches 26%, says paper

The penetration rate of smartphones in the Taiwan handset market has reached 26%, with 83% of local smartphone users being first-time owners of smartphones, according a Chinese-language Commercial Times reports, citing data released by Google.
